Ruthie Davis Spike Dark Gaga Bootie

Ruthie Davis Spike Dark Gaga

Ruthie Davis Spike Dark Gaga

Yes. Shoe designer Ruthie Davis did name a shoe after our favorite little pop star. What the GC loves most about this bootie is the clean leather upper with the spike adorned surprised in the back.

I would totally rock these with a full black skirt and a motorcycle jacket…couldn’t tell me nothing.

Note:Get them at Price approx $1400

Glam Exclusive: Christian Siriano Spring 2011…for Payless.

Look at the beauty that will be on my feet in Spring 2011 via Christian Siriano:

These will drop Spring 2011 so look out for them. I suggest registering at the Payless website so you won’t miss out.

 Kisses xoxo,

The Glamour Commander

NOTE: No info from the PR company on the price tags just yet. Most shoes on the runway are concept shoes so stay tuned…

Morning Drool: Ash Studded Cowboy Boot

Available at Saks Fifth Avenue; $365

Remember I announced my fall theme: Western Prairie/ Aztec prints? Well these fall right into the category. How adorable are they with studs adorned on the upper? I also live for that distressed look that the boot showcases. Home home on the range…love these!

Morning Drool: Nicholas Kirkwood x Keith Haring

Nicholas Kirkwood, one of fashion’s most in-demand shoe designers over the past two years has teamed up with famed modern artist Keith Haring for a bold and beautiful shoe collection. Staying within Haring’s signature use of primary colors and using Kirkwood’s known architectural design, the shoes will definitely be the hottest of the season.

This month, Kirkwood will launch an eight day website where this collection along with his other collaborations (Rodarte, Peter Pilotto & Erdem) will be sold.

Those interested in the Kirkwood/Haring collection can purchase the shoes above in a pre-sale…since they aren’t set to hit stores until February 2011.

Morning Drool: YSL Palais Pump

I know you just spilled your morning coffee on yourself. What in the French designer world are these you ask? My fave shoe from Yves Saint Laurent’s Fall 2010 Collection (which looks amazing in royal blue).

The suede ‘Palais’ platform pump has genuine goat fur fanned around 5 1/2 inch heel. This high heel is for my true glamazons…no stragglers allowed! The platform is 1 1/2 inches long so it’s okay if you want to pretend you’re Jessica Stam for a day when you’re height jumps from 5″6 to 5″11.

You have your credit card out and you’re ready to purchase them online, right? I love your willingness to buy, they aren’t available unless you’re VIP…but you can’t order them from the pre-sale at

My psychic fashion forecasts predict that we’ll see Kelly Cutrone, Genevieve Jones, SJP or Tracy Ellis Ross in these.

I don’t know why but I feel like I’ll be getting an e-mail from PETA in 5…4…3..2…1.

Morning Drool: Louis Vuitton Beauty Pumps

Louis Vuitton’s Fall 2010 Beauty Pump is all I dream about nowadays.

Beauty Pump in Satin; $890

I love the texture and tone of the shoe. Check out the Satin Beauty Pump with its ostrich bow, satin upper and chunky croc skin heel…what’s not to love? Not only is the shoe gorge but is screaming this season’s “Back to Femininity” theme. Priced from $815 to $2580 you can decide which shoe fits your personal style and budget.

I’m envisioning so many looks with this shoe. The 40’s and 50’s sock hop look that Chris Turlington served above (she looks amazing) or maybe a Parisian it-girl look.

What would you wear with these?

Beauty Pump in Ostrich Leather; $2,580
Beauty Pump in Calf Leather; $815
Beauty Pump in Velvet; $1420

I die! My faves are the Velvet and Calf Leather. Look at the Swarovski-strass heel on the Velvet shoe…stadium status. BTW the heels are 4.2 inches high. Not bad.

Morning Drool: Stella McCartney Thigh Highs

Ouch. I just want to kiss these thigh-high satin boots by Stella McCartney.

I see they tried to slide the Stella Mccartney Falabella bag in here too…y’all ain’t slick Team McCartney and we’re not getting both Stella! By the way, this model needs to be fed because these boots look very baggy on her…glam boots nonetheless.

Morning Drool: Chat With Sex In The City’s Patricia Field Today!

Long time stylist of Sex In the City will chat with fans on the Payless Facebook page from 4:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. EST. She has collaborated with America’s most affordable shoe retailer for a second time (the first time was in 2008) to design a line inspired by the Sex In the City 2 movie, the newest addition to the beloved series turned movie.

Her shoes even come in hot pink shoe boxes! I am so excited and will be one of the first in line to check out the line!

No word yet on the day when the shoes officially drop but some are saying this holiday season. I’m thinking mid-summer though. I’ll keep you posted. Maybe she’ll announce the launch on the Payless chatroom today!

Shoe Duality: X-Girl & Nike Sportswear Blazer Mid & Gianmarco Lorenzi Sandals

You know…sometimes you wanna just do the sneakers and the next you have on a 6 inch heel. What’s your shoe duality like?

Gianmarco Lorenzi Sandals

Glam Girl Tip: Now get this. You can wear either shoe with a tuxedo pant and a crisp white button down. Instant sexy…

The GC Presents 30 Days of Wardrobe Essentials & Wardrobe Essential #1

The Glamour Commander is proud to present 30 Days of Wardrobe Essentials. These essentials will be presented in no particular order but are the fundamentals for an awesome Spring & Summer wardrobe. Enjoy and share your must-haves with us!

Wardrobe Essential #1-The Jealousy Heel

You walk in the club, taller than usual and you’re pretending that you’re Agyness Dey. You see your best girlfriends and they smile and embrace you (because they’re so glad that you came out!). They observe your total look and stop smiling when they get to your shoes. They stop and take a double glance. Once they realize how long their mouths have been open, they begin to smile again to save face.

All night you hear “Where did you get those?” or “Are those the new ________ shoes? They’re hot”. You and your jealosy heel, expensive or not, have ran the town. When looking for a jealousy heel remember that the shoe must make a statement. Whether your a party girl or a true rocker at heart, let the heel do the talkin’.
