The verdict is in Lanvin for H&M’s collection. Verdict: drop dead gorgeous dresses, accessories and shoes. True Euro chic and glamour. Now if you think you can wear any of the Lanvin frocks to a date or out with the girls, pump your breaks. This collection was created for red carpet premiers and A-list gatherings. Check it:
My Loves From the Video/Wish List:
-The silk navy/black one shoulder cocktail dress (shown in the video still) with the huge shoulder details is stadium status! I would pair the dress with skin tight thigh high platform boots.
-I love the showcasing of how the mustard yellow one shoulder ruffle dress is age appropriate from 20 to 70-year-olds. Grandma was working it wasn’t she?
-The leopard print kitten heels with the silk tie around at the top.
-Got a small glimpse of a black taffeta peplum dress with exaggerated shoulders. So dark and romantic…preparing to clip someone up in the store for that piece.
-Are those Lanvin for H&M shoes that we see? I live!
-Question: How many confrontation swill I get into for the floral print dresses with the floral handbags? I’m ready like Alicia Keyyyyysss.
-The ruffled black dress with the elastic waist. Ovah.
What are your faves?
She just might be the flyest and most mysterious black socialite in New York…and in the world. Genevieve Jones, the girl that keeps everyone talking. The media wants to know how a girl from Louisiana inherited such wealth and acceptance into the fashion industry. I personally want to know how it feels to be adorned in the most beautiful designers: Azzedine Alaia, Proenza Schouler, Rodarte and Pucci just to name a few.
We love Genevieve Jones because she has what most celebrities don’t have: true personal fashion sense and effortless style. You can just tell. Everything doesn’t have to be perfect and we believe it. Wurrrrk Genny!
Look at the beauty that will be on my feet in Spring 2011 via Christian Siriano:
These will drop Spring 2011 so look out for them. I suggest registering at the Payless website so you won’t miss out.

NOTE: No info from the PR company on the price tags just yet. Most shoes on the runway are concept shoes so stay tuned…
Louis Vuitton’s Fall 2010 Beauty Pump is all I dream about nowadays.
|Beauty Pump in Satin; $890 louisvuitton.com
I love the texture and tone of the shoe. Check out the Satin Beauty Pump with its ostrich bow, satin upper and chunky croc skin heel…what’s not to love? Not only is the shoe gorge but is screaming this season’s “Back to Femininity” theme. Priced from $815 to $2580 you can decide which shoe fits your personal style and budget.
I’m envisioning so many looks with this shoe. The 40’s and 50’s sock hop look that Chris Turlington served above (she looks amazing) or maybe a Parisian it-girl look.
What would you wear with these?
|Beauty Pump in Ostrich Leather; $2,580 louisvuitton.com
|Beauty Pump in Calf Leather; $815 louisvuitton.com
|Beauty Pump in Velvet; $1420 louisvuitton.com
I die! My faves are the Velvet and Calf Leather. Look at the Swarovski-strass heel on the Velvet shoe…stadium status. BTW the heels are 4.2 inches high. Not bad.
Jean Paul Gaultier’s Fall 2010 show in Paris is looks to e inspired by bar fights, boxing matches and the Jersey Shore. Must say that I live for theatrics, so I love the theme and the frocs.
You know you love this sweatsuit. You wanna buy it, love it, rock it. Last night on Twitter I said this sweatsuit was breaking my focus “Cuz it’s cute and it’s ballin’.” On January 20th, I will either physically be at TopShop or online to purchase this spiked motorcycle sweat jacket with matching pant by Ashish. What a great way to start your year.
Here’s the second sweatsuit:
Sick. I would love to accessorize both sweatsuits with a Miu-Miu studded bag:
